Welcome to Code Hostels, your long-term living partner. This Booking Policy outlines the terms and conditions for reserving and staying at our properties.

Code Hostels Booking Terms & Conditions

1 Eligibility

  • Guests must be 18 years or older to book and stay.
  • Only long-term stays (minimum 1 year) are permitted, as per our licensing requirements.

2 Booking Process

  • All bookings must be made through our official website or via authorized booking channels.
  • A non-refundable booking fee of ₹5,000 (adjustable against the first month's rent) is required to confirm your reservation.
  • You will be required to submit KYC documents (Government-issued ID, Address Proof, and Photograph) within 48 hours of booking.
  • Booking is subject to availability and verification of documents.

3 Minimum Stay Requirement

  • The minimum duration of stay is 12 months.
  • Short-term or daily bookings are not allowed under our licensing policy.

4 Security Deposit

  • A security deposit equivalent to 1.5 months' rent must be paid before check-in.
  • This deposit is fully refundable at the end of your stay, subject to room condition and notice compliance.

5 License Agreement

  • All residents must sign a Long-Term Stay License Agreement before move-in.
  • The agreement outlines rights, responsibilities, house rules, and the termination process.

6 Rent Payment

  • Rent must be paid on or before the 5th of every month.
  • A late fee of ₹100/day will be charged after the due date.
  • Rent is to be paid via UPI, net banking, or other digital modes only.

7 Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Booking fees are non-refundable.
  • Security deposit is refundable only if:
    • Cancellation is made 30 days before move-in.
    • No damage or breach of contract is observed during the stay.
  • Early move-out results in forfeiture of the deposit and requires a 30-day notice.

8 Transfer & Room Change

  • Room change is subject to availability and management approval.
  • A transfer fee of ₹2,000 will be applicable.

9 Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in is allowed only after document verification and full payment.
  • Check-out must be done within 24 hours after the license term ends or upon notice period completion.

10 Code of Conduct

  • All residents must follow the Code Hostels House Rules.
  • Any violation may lead to eviction without refund.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?

Your booking fee of ₹5,000 is non-refundable. The security deposit is refundable only if cancellation is made 30 days before move-in or if there's no damage or breach of contract observed during your stay.

What happens if I need to leave before my 12-month term ends?

Early move-out results in forfeiture of your security deposit and requires a 30-day notice. Please refer to the License Agreement for complete details on early termination.

What documents are required for booking?

You need to submit KYC documents including a Government-issued ID, Address Proof, and a recent Photograph within 48 hours of booking.

Can I change my room after moving in?

Yes, room change is possible subject to availability and management approval. A transfer fee of ₹2,000 will be applicable for any room change.
